sRGB vs ProPhotoRGB in Photoshop

Why should you consider ProPhotoRGB vs sRGB as an editing space? It is a much larger colorspace than sRGB. If you want to keep things simple and uncomplicated leave everything in sRGB including your camera settings. All printers and labs eg. Fuji Frontier photo labs use a sRGB profile. This is a brief demonstration of the final product edited in PS. Both are raw photos converted to jpeg photos, originally shot in Adobe RGB and brought into PS. One was edited in sRGB 8bit and the other as a 16bit image using ProPhoto RGB 16 bit. The interesting part comes when viewing the Gamut warning to view which colours can’t be printed properly. The sRGB failed whilst the ProPhoto RGB edited photo appears to be 100%. Both pictures have a sRGB icc profile. Further development includes a 1,+2,+3,0,-1,-2,-3 exposure manipulation of a single raw image to extract detail in the shadows and highlights
